For starters, you both want to make sure
that your car is fixed right, the first time. You can
help with that by providing us with information about
your vehicle that will save you time and money. Here
are some tips that will help us to properly diagnose
and repair your vehicle so that it operates to your
complete satisfaction.
Use your senses. Note any differences
in how your car smells, sounds or handles.
If possible, have the service advisor
go for a road test with you in your car.
Pay attention to when a problem occurs.
For example, does it happen when the engine is cold
or warm; downhill or uphill; at idle speed or when
driving, etc.
Please don't tell us what to fix. Tell
us what symptoms you are experiencing and let us diagnose
the problem.
Don't be embarrassed to tell us that
you've work on it yourself, had another service facility
or that the repair needed is long overdue.
